by NW Vet Staff
It’s the time of year for us to be thankful for our families and our furry friends. Take a moment to snuggle with your pets and enjoy the extra time you get spend with them during the holidays. It’s also a great time to give back to our community, take pride in knowing every time you step through our doors we give back...
1. Heart Chip Donations
Everytime you walk through our doors, you give back to the community. Did you know we donate a portion of each exam to chartity? Our team team hand delivers checks to a different organization 4 times a year. Some of the places that we have had the opportunity to donate to in the past are; Scrub-a-mutt, KSER independent radio station, The Doney Pet Memorial clinic, Pets for Vets, Housing Hope and more. You can help by bringing your pet in to get an exam with one of our doctors, and casting your vote. Do you have a charity you would like us to consider? We would love your suggestions.
2. Pet Food Drive
From November through December 31st we are collecting donations of unopened dog and cat food. The donations are gathered at the end of the year and delivered to local shelters. You can help by bringing in any amount of dog or cat food to help feed animals in need.
